The Charlotte-Genesee Lighthouse is a historical figure amongst the community. This stone octagonal lighthouse was constructed in 1822 and stands at 40' tall along the shores of Lake Ontario. To this day, through rounds of masonry repair by Catenary Construction, the lighthouse remains active and is listed in the United States Coast Guard Light List as light number 2333.
